This video was done after a call for short films about football and culture 'SHOOT GOALS! SHOOT MOVIES! by the Berlin Filmfestival and the organizing commettee of the World Cup in Germany. We thought that our Berlin-based Turkish women's football team was an example for both and portrayed it in a playful manner, showing the passion and joy we all share with the game. 

The video was shot in the streets of Berlin and premiered at the Talent Campus of the Berlin Film Festival in 2005. At the screening we watched Ayat Najafi's MOVE IT! and were introduced to the issue of women's football in Iran. Only 2 weeks after the screening we started working on the project to follow, a public women's foobtall match in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the documentary FOOTBALL UNDER COVER.
